Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Google LogoWhen you get right down to it, this is really what most people want, even if they don't know it. What you want as a business owner is for people to find (and then use or purchase from) your business. And let's also be clear that when we talk about Search Engines, we are really talking about Google, as they make up almost 70% of the search market and the rest is split between the other 4 or 5 minor search engines.

Search Engine Optimization is a very specialized (and constantly changing) field. Major corporations have at least one full-time employee (if not several) that constantly tweak their sites to move them up in the rankings. But that is in very large fields where there is heavy competition. Most small business owners simply need thier sites designed from the beginning to take Search Engines into account. All of our sites are developed with these factors in mind: sitemaps, webmaster tools, domain names, individual page names and content. A website that can't be found is like no website at all. Here are some case studies that we've done:

The first example is a local Fort Myers Beach Italian restaurant called "Terra Nostra" that before us did not show up on Google except for as part of other restaurant guides. Within one month after we built and optimized their site, they are in the first page listings. Go to Google and type "fort myers beach italian restaurants" and you'll see them there.

The next example is a site that designs Armorial Achievements, or Coats of Arms as they are sometimes mistakenly referred to. This was a brand new site called AssumeArms.com with no history, and yet within 3 months they are the number 2 result on Google. Go to Google and type "armorial achievements" and you'll see them there.

This does not mean that we can get these exact results for your business as there are literally hundreds of variables involved. But be assured, we know what those are and how to get your site to the very best position possible. After meeting with you and learning about your business, we will give you a fair and honest estimate of how far up we can move your site. Many people will promise to get you on the first page and some of them do so by means that Google frowns upon (known as "Black Hat SEO"). So they might get you to that first page for a month or two until Google notices how they did it and bans your site for life. Don't take that chance, we use only authorized methods known as "White Hat SEO" to get your site where you need to be.
